Test Equipment Design

There are many reasons for the need of new test equipment from a new product/process introduction to replacement due to obsolescence, reliability or reliability.

One of our engineers can be brought in at any stage of the process. This could be a anything from a simple drawing, test cable or interface board to a test fixture and fully automated test solution.

Working from a requirements specification we can develop initial design concepts, upon approval CAD tools are then utilised to create hardware designs, generate production files and where applicable these are then sent out for manufacture. Parts then arrive at our workshop for assembly, wiring, inspection and then tested.

We can generate documentation including design and manufacture files, wire lists, parts lists, 3D CAD files, PCB Gerber files, General assembly drawings and block diagrams.

3D CAD Modelling, Rapid Prototyping and Machining

Modern computers make it easy to design in 3D and 3D printers make it a breeze to bring CAD models to life. We have many years of experience using technical CAD modelling packages and 3D printing. We have a small machine shop to turn metal, mill and engrave.

PCB Design, Manufacture and Test

It is more reliable and often cheaper to design a printed circuit board to replace point to point wiring where possible. No moving parts means no continuity breaks and a quicker manufacturing time. Our boards can be manufactured in a couple of days where a quick turnaround is required.
